About Quire

One workspace for the whole draft-to-reader loop

Quire exists because sharing a manuscript for feedback shouldn't mean juggling a Google Doc, a spreadsheet of readers, a Discord thread, and your inbox.

Why we built this

Every author who's run a beta read knows the routine: export a draft, email it to a dozen readers, track who's read what in a spreadsheet, and dig through scattered comments to find the feedback that actually matters. None of the tools built for that moment were built for that moment - they were general-purpose docs and chat apps pressed into service.

Quire is purpose-built for it instead: a place to write, invite readers by stage (alpha, beta, ARC), watch progress chapter by chapter, and collect feedback anchored to the exact line it's about - all without a reader ever needing to make an account.

What we care about

Your manuscript stays yours. Nothing you write is used to train anything, sold, or shared beyond the collaborators you explicitly invite.

Readers shouldn't need an account to help you. Accepting an invite and leaving feedback should take one click, not a sign-up flow.

Feedback should be structured, not scattered. Comments live on the text they refer to, threaded, and organized by chapter - not buried in an email chain.

Where we are

Quire is early - we're a small team building this in the open, shipping based on what working authors and their readers actually need. If you have thoughts, we read every message that comes through our contact page.
